PROJECT 1B - SITE INVENTORY AND ANALYSIS
INTRODUCTION
We are to carry out a field observation and fabricate a site inventory and analysis.Ranging from introduction to the site, site contextual study, human activities , space / zoning , circulation pattern , plantings and hardscape materials, we will make an interim presentation and a site synthesis presentation.
THE PROCESS
We went to the site together and divided the task accordingly. Bee Yee and I were in charged of the hardscape elements we went around the site and took the photos. We took the hardscape according to space that is more significant such as gazebo, bridge etc. We used google slides to make our interim presentation to make the presentation more organized and look as one. We also can look and help with others progress.

During the tutorial session for our board presentation on site synthesis, we have been told by our lecturer, Ms Iffa that we were doing our synthesis on surface only, hence we redo everything and tried to think more logically and critically. This is actually a very fun and interesting process to do with other group mates together. As we did our brainstorming session together, our relationship become closer and we become close friends after this project.

From this project, I learnt to understand the brief thoroughly is very important. We need to do the project according to requirements of the brief. It is extremely important as we as students will always overlook the brief.
We have to analyze the site condition and make site synthesis based on the analysis we made. Critical thinking and sharp observation skills helps a lot during the process of making board presentation. We have to evaluated deeply the importance of each hardscape and how we can improve it during the process. The image chosen is also very crucial to present the information to audience.
The communication skills also been trained through this project. We mainly communicated through WhatsApp and google slides. We also made face-to-face discussion when the due date is near. Overall, the collaboration and cooperation between our group members are good.
The ways to present the board help to direct the viewers to the next information will definitely add marks to our boards. The flow of presentation and the feeling of wholeness and hierarchy of boards are knowledge that we need to gain, learn and improve lifelong.
