About Me
Welcome to my e-portfolio site. My name is Sim Li Mei and you can call me by my surname, Sim or just by my name, Li Mei. I am from Klang, the royal town of Selangor.
I studied in SK Taman Klang Utama for my primary school education. Something interesting about me was although I only studied my standard one in Chinese primary school, I took Mandarin for my PMR during my secondary school life.
I love to draw sketches, watercolor and Chinese brush painting during my leisure time. Drawing is the method that I found most effectively to express my thoughts, feelings and mood.
Music is also part of my life as I enjoy playing a few Chinese musical instruments such as guzheng, liuqin, pipa and more. The guzheng also known as Chinese zither or Chinese piano, is a Chinese traditional plucked musical string instrument . The genre of songs that I play using it ranging from pop to classical.
I am very grateful to have art as my passion and looking forward to learn and explore more about art and architecture through this foundation course in Taylor's University.
