MINI JOURNAL 2 - GREEN & SUSTAINABLE CITIES
INTRODUCTION
Mini journal 2 is about green and sustainable cities. This assignment is aim to encourage students to learn more independently by doing research on architecture, buildings, green and sustainable methods and more.
As this is the second time we were doing visual note taking style, we are more clear about the ways and style that suits us the best. We also know more clearly on how to do research so we took lesser time than the previous to finish this task.
The common objective of green buildings is to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment. Through this mini journal, our understanding towards green building requirements and get the elementary ideas on how to make our city greener through some research.

By studying about green and sustainability, I realized that a building could have great impact on nature and surrounding. Architects and engineers have to devote great efforts and time to ensure the building fulfill the green building requirements.
The last questions of this mini journal is about listing 10 things or guidelines to help improving KL as a green city. We have to implement the knowledge that we have just learnt and analyze generally about things that we can improve.
Through this mini journal, I found out that making journal notes could be so effective and useful to our daily life. The visual note-taking skill is a must-learn skill for every architecture student.
